I mean….those are all pretty great things :) BUT having an open-concept space is our favorite aspect of The Emerson Room because it means layout options are virtually endless! Whether you want a sweetheart table or head table, want to be tucked away or front and center we can bring your vision to life. A Head Table on the Stage
Our elevated stage is a fabulous head table location because you get the best of both worlds- a bit of private time to eat your dinner but also are front and center so your guests can see you during toasts! It makes for great photos as your head table is the backdrop of your first dance so you can show off that décor you spent hours detailing out with your florist! We can seat up to 16 wedding party members on the stage and it is an ideal option if you are up towards that 300 guest count number.
A Head Table in the Window Nook
The window nook is place eyes are drawn to as guests walk into The Emerson Room. If you’re looking to do tall, dramatic floral arrangements on your head table this may be the location for you! It works best for guest counts from 100-220 as this location does take up a bit more space. You can choose to have a ‘king’s style’ head table that is two banquet tables wide, allowing for more space for décor. This style of head table in the window nook is ideal if you have a large wedding party- we’ve done tables with up to 26 chairs with this option!
A “U” Shaped Head Table in the Window Nook
This unique layout is fabulous if you have a guest count ranging from 100-150 and want to make a statement. This layout utilized our linen upgrade color option of navy, which really brought the space to life!
A Sweetheart Table at the Edge of the Dance Floor
Do you want that first meal as forever partners to be just the two of you? We have the perfect solution for you! Using a 48” round for a sweetheart table provides just enough space for your two place settings and décor. A sweetheart table is a great option regardless of guest count and we can place this style of table on the stage or in the window nook too!
With so many options, creating a layout can feel like a daunting task. If you start to feel stressed, simply reach out! We have an online layout system that is built to scale so we can plug and play with tables to test different layouts as you plan. We will go in-depth with layout details at the final walk through, held four weeks before your wedding day, but can always give assistant prior to that meeting.
